Terms and conditions

Last updated 4 September 2026. These terms govern use of democratpeak.digital.

The site is published by democratpeak from 67QF+XC, Milnthorpe LA7 7NJ, United Kingdom. Contact [email protected].

What this is

democratpeak is a journal. The essays, interviews, guides and maps on this site are editorial opinion and reporting. They are not financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or an offer to sell anything. On-chain art and cryptoassets can fall in value, become illiquid, or disappear with a front-end. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, mint, or hold.

Accuracy

We take care. We still get things wrong. Institutions change their programmes. Contracts are updated. If you find an error of fact, write to us. We will correct the page and note the date of the correction. Opinions will not be rewritten to soothe a subject.

Copyright

Text on this site is copyright democratpeak unless another credit is given. You may quote short passages with a link. You may not copy an essay wholesale, train a model on our pages without permission, or pass our visits off as yours. Photographs are either made for us or used with permission; they are not a pool.

Artists and works

Artist names, works and studios described here remain the artists’. A visit is not an endorsement of a sale. A map of rooms is not a partnership with those rooms.

Your use

Do not scrape the site in a way that knocks it over. Do not present our pages as your product. Do not use the contact form to send malware or a pitch deck of fifty pages. We may block addresses that abuse the desk.

Liability

The site is provided as published. To the extent English law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from relying on a journal as if it were a prospectus, a wallet manual, or a solicitor. This does not exclude liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If a term cannot be enforced, the rest still stand.
